What's at the End of Your Rainbow?

Rainbows are among the most magical – and fascinating – phenomenon that occur in nature. No matter your age, it’s hard to look at a rainbow and not feel that sense of awe and wonder that you only get when you witness something truly special.
These magical meteorological and optical phenomena are caused by the reflection, refraction, and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky, taking the form of a multicolored circular arc.
Rainbows have been considered good omens for thousands of years, and while there’s nothing wrong with hoping for a little luck at the sight of a
rainbow, the bad news is that you can never get to the end of a rainbow.

The good news is that your ability to wish and dream for the end of your rainbow give you more in your life than you can ever imagine. The ability to imagine possibilities separates humans from other creatures in this amazing world that we live in. Without our imaginations and the ability to dream and create, our lives would be very mundane.
You can never actually get to the end of a rainbow because a rainbow is based on the orientation of the observer (you) and the light source (the sun) to the rain. When you move, the rainbow will move, too.
In our lives that is true also. Our rainbows, our dreams, change based on our orientation at any moment in our lives. Our ability to change our point of view, our perspective, is another gift that we have been given.
In ancient times, the Greek goddess Iris was personified by the rainbow, with many works of art actually depicting her taking the form of a rainbow.

Her rainbow became a bridge between Mount Olympus, where the gods and goddesses lived, and the Earth. We know a rainbow isn’t actually a bridge between heaven and earth! But it sure makes for a great story.
In our lives our rainbows, our dreams, can lead us on the paths to those goals, our pots of gold. Listening to your mind, as it wanders, can often give you an idea of a direction that you were not considering …..a bridge to your gold, your goal, your desire.
You are also totally unique. No two people see the exact same rainbow. If you and a friend are standing next to each other looking at a rainbow, you’re still not seeing the exact same rainbow! That’s because a rainbow has no physical presence.
It is a purely optical phenomenon, and its appearance – its precise shape, arc, and the width of its color bands – will be slightly different according to the eye of the beholder. Every rainbow is unique to you!
Just like rainbows, every person has their own unique perspective on their life, where they want to go, what dreams they want to follow, what their pot of gold looks like, feels like, becomes. Let your personal rainbow stand out. Define its colors as yours.
What's at the end of your rainbow? Whatever you want to be is there. Your imagination, your creativeness, your willingness to change your perspective, to listen to your mind, all give you the ability to create your own pot of gold, to go for your own dreams, to be entirely who you were meant to be.
Go find your pot of gold. It's there!
